Bridge Kids

Nursery & Preschool to Grade 6

Faith, Fun & Friends for Jesus’ youngest followers

Sunday Morning

Check-In / Check-Out (All age groups)

TIME: 10:30 am
LOCATION: The Bridge Whitby Church

All families with children (nursery to grade 6) will first go into the gym to our Bridge Kids Check-In desk. This helps us ensure their safety and allows you to enjoy the service with peace of mind. Once your children have been registered, they may proceed to their Sunday programs or utilize our parent-supervised nursery. Following the service, parents picking up children in our Bridge Kids Sunday program will go into the gym for pickup.

Preschool to Grade 6

Once you have checked in, our preschool to grade 6 children start their morning together with a time of worship. We then watch our Bible lesson from The Gospel Project curriculum. Afterward, the group is divided into age-appropriate groups for a time of games and table activities where we build relationships and further experience what we have learned and how we will apply it.

Nursery (Parent Supervised)

Once you have checked in, we offer a room for our youngest children to enjoy, equipped with toys and coloring sheets featuring the same Bible story that the older children are learning. It is currently a parent-supervised space with a live stream of the service for parents to enjoy. Our team at the check-in desk is there to assist you in any way we can.

Meet Our Bridge Kids Leader

Debbie Hanks

Hey there! Deb Hanks here. I’ve been on staff at The Bridge Whitby Church, working with children and youth since 2005. Currently, I’m the Director of Children's Ministry, overseeing our Bridge Kids Sunday program.

I have a passion to see people of all ages know their identity in Christ and learn how to live intentionally for Him in a world full of distractions. I value authenticity and believe that when we share our journeys and experiences, we can bring glory to God while offering hope and encouragement to others.
