Christmas Outreach to Support Our Local Community
This December, we have the opportunity to share the love and hope of Christ with those in need right here in our own community. We are excited to invite you to participate in our Christmas Outreach, supporting three local organizations:
The Refuge
Pregnancy Help Centre of Durham
Fairview Lodge Nursing Home
These organizations are doing incredible work, and this Christmas, we want to come alongside them to ensure that those they serve feel loved and cared for. Your participation can make a real difference in the lives of people who need it most this season.
How can you help? It’s simple – pick a red tag from our foyer tree and purchase the item requested by the organization. Each tag will list an item needed this Christmas season.
Step 1: Pick a Tag
In the foyer, you’ll find a Christmas tree adorned with red tags. Each tag represents an item requested by three local organizations:The Refuge
Pregnancy Help Centre of Durham
Fairview Lodge Nursing Home
Step 2: Purchase the Items
Each tag will list an item that is needed by one of these organizations this Christmas season. Please purchase the item listed on your tag.Step 3: Return the Item
After purchasing the item, bring it unwrapped to the collection bin in the foyer on Sunday mornings. Ensure that the tag is attached to your donation.
Important Dates
All items must be dropped off in the collection bin by Sunday, December 15th (during the morning service) so that they can be delivered to the organizations before Christmas Day.
Get Involved and Make a Difference
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us this Christmas to give a gift of joy and hope to those in need in our local community? Your support will make a meaningful difference this season.
Our Welcome Team will be available to assist with tag selection and donations on Sundays in December. We appreciate your generous participation and look forward to sharing the love of Christ with our neighbours.
